• c. £50,000 salary + good benefits

The Norfolk Water Fund is an investment programme committed to delivering Nature Based Solutions for sustainable water management over the long term. This is a new, innovative initiative working directly with The Nature Conservancy, a global conservation organisation who have funded ambitious scientific projects in countries across the world for over 70 years.

As such, we are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join the team in leading this project. This role will include liaison with a wide variety of external bodies including funding partners, politicians, land owners, land managers, regulators and more and so it is vital the right candidate will have polished multi-stakeholder communication skills. Alongside this, they will be a strategic thinker, be confident and able to focus and keep an eye on the bigger picture, as well as showcasing strong organisation and coordination skills.

Candidates will already have established programme management experience gained in an environmental setting, be that biodiversity, natural capital or conservation or similar. Although specific knowledge and experience of Nature Based Solutions and water management is desirable, WRE and the programme partners have an excellent technical team who will be on hand to support you, as well as providing funding for development and training.

We work fully remotely although the nature of the role will involve some travel to site and occasionally meeting stakeholders in person. The right candidate will live within a reasonable distance of East Anglia and have a strong interest in the environmental matters and private finance options in the region.
